widget - good idea?
I plan to let users create widgets on my website which they can put on their websites. These widgets will show jobs/cars/properties/etc, based on keyword, category, zipcode and radius.
Ezine does something similar with their articles...lot of other websites do the same thing.
Why would user want it? because they can show listings related to their site. If you have a job site/blog then you can show job listings in your area. If you have car site/blog then you can show car listings in your area, etc.
It is a significant work on my side, so my question is does it worth? Yes, I know unless I do it I will never know. But wondering if you guys have any experience with any of this.
I am just trying to create some buzz for my website.
