Need help with Wordpress

I'm setting up an Amazon store on my Wordpress web site. I created the page and embedded the code. If I put the URL in the browser the site comes up but if I click on the navigation button, the URL comes up with the page id but not what the page shows in my pages section on my dashboard. Can anyone guide me.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of help at Amazon unless I don't know where to find it. Thanks!

    When you set your permalinks you probably got a message telling you to change your htaccess file - and you didn't.

    Check there first - easiest way is to "save" your permalink settings again and see if you get the message.

    I never received a message about my htaccess file. I have no idea where that file is.
