Autorunning My Camtasia CDs Just Like John Reese, Jeff Walker etc?

Hi,

For those who own products by John Reese or Jeff Walker, you would know their camtasia video tutorial discs would auto run the moment you insert the cd in.

How is that done?

For me, I record my camtasia vids and produce them as swf... burn the files to a cd but when I insert the cd, they still require manual clicking to play the vid. Was hoping to make the vids auto play.

Please advise on how that can be done, thanks!

    Hi Mate,

    All you have to do is this...

    Open a text file and put this inside it.

    Code:
    [autorun]
open=Filename.exe
icon=Filename.ico
    Rename the "Filename" to whatever
    you want to autorun. It could be index.html or
    whatever.

    Then save the text file as "AUTORUN.INF"

    And stick that in the CD.

    Easy as pie
