A Tutorial Goldmine...

I subscribe to the developers shed newsletter, mostly for their SEOCHAT feature....anyways, in todays emailing it mentioned a website "tutorialized.com". Out of curiousity I went to see what it was all about....

WOW....Tutorials for everything from SEO to Web design to 2D/3D Graphics to Business Applications to Database to E-Commerce & many many more...This is a newbies dream!!! Thousands...YES THOUSANDS of tutorials

I just spent the last 6 hrs sifting though some of these & just scratched the surface...

119 tutorials for SEO
269 tutorials for HTML
421 tutorials for Dreamweaver
1393 for PHP
3593 for Flash
& a whopping 13466 tutorials for Photoshop...

Fireworks, gimp, paint, powerpoint, excel, video editing, tons more.....it covers it all.

I saw this & thought...the WF has to know about this. Tons of information here...newbies & veteran marketers can benefit from this...

    One of the must frustrating things for me is trying to figure out the tech stuff. I haven't been able to pull enough of it together to have the basic understanding to be able to hire it. Until now.

    Beware the much dreaded "Information Overload"!

    When I was new, I spent far too much time learning and not enough time actually doing.

    Tutorials are great (like whiskey). You just have to consume in moderation.

    Learn then Apply

      Hi Mike,

      With this much infomation, overload is a definate possiblilty...It's hard not to feel like a kid in a candy store...lol

      The 6 hrs+ was spent sifting through some of these tutorials checking for usefullness & how up to date most were, making notes, sorting out ones I would want to come back to at a later date. Like you, I went through the Info overload before & knew to use caution...

      It's great advice, thanks...
