Intro & Question
Hello Warriors,
I have been lurking around these forums for a few days now, and I have to say that just reading this information has opened my eyes. I've read through Google Money Tree, Bloggers Toolkit, and tons of other Ebooks on how to make an income from the internet. As the warriors here seem to say a lot, I got Information Overload.
With everyone here giving the same advice to every newbie, I am just going to "Do It". So I have been looking up the basics instead of looking for the fancy stuff. Problem is, I cannot find any good information on how to do Keyword Research. I don't want some program thats going to do the work for me. I want to know how to do it by hand first, as it seems to be a very important part of the learning process when starting an IM business.
So my question is... Could you give some basic ground level pointers on how to do proper keyword research? What things should I look for when doing this research? Oh, and are there any free or inexpensive tools that I should make use of to gather information of where my traffic is coming from? I noticed Google Analytics, but I wasn't sure if this was the information I was looking for or not.
