Killing Internet Commerce
Today I received an autoreply from yet another Craigslist spammer.
Tried to report the guy and it's nearly impossible. Buried falsified Whois information. Yahoo Google all the Internet Search Engines don't want spam reports... they bury them behind user registrations.
The reality is that spam exists because the very people in a position to stop it choose to try and profit from it instead of eliminate it.
This is very bad for Internet Marketers. All it takes is one bad online experience for a consumer and they will not shop online again.
You would think that companies like Google whose very existance depends on consumers using the Internet would actually care... sadly they don't.
