In the early 1990's, the USA was in a serious recession. This did not affect Jim and Amy Dacyczyn much, however, since they were already used to cutting corners and living beneath their means. They developed a newsletter about their pennypinching ways and started a business. The Tightwad Gazette had 104,000 subscribers at its peak. Their books have sold over 500,000 copies and have hit the New York Times bestseller list. This idea - generated in the middle of a deep recession - resulted in millions of dollars for this ordinary couple. What idea is in you? |
