Ipad and internet marketing ?

Will they go together? Anybody got one, I am thinking it would be cool to write lots of articles/blog posts with an ipad. No boring work, sitting in one place. What's your view? Can this be used to do internet marketing? What are the limitations?

You can check email and respond to it?
Can you respond to forum posts?

One of the accessories is a keyboard. So I assume it's for typing.
Any connection problems if you are rural (I have a Kindle and that connects)

They are a match in the sense that making good money online buys you nice things , and I think they are the best format for client meetings (restaurant setting, etc).

That said, if you are looking for something to do blogging on... get an iMac or a Macbook Pro. Much easier to get down to business..

It is a fun gadget to have and show off to your friends but I do not find it practical for internet marketing.

Nothing to sell, only value to give and new knowledge to learn.

I also see it as a fun gadget and nothing else: some internet browsing here, some quick email reading there, and that's it.

Its a perfect addition to your internet marketing arsenal.

It is designed to be engage you in a way that will let you absorb what your reading / doing on your iPad better than a regular computer screen. It's more organic to hold something that you can manipulate easily and you will be more apt to pay attention to whats on the screen.

For research its beautiful and if you use any of Apple's technology not just for entertainment but for brain training and conscious development, they are tools to be reckoned with for personal growth.

You can hop on Netflix and watch a Documentary about Helvetica for your up and coming web design project, whip up a quick spreadsheet in numbers to calculate your CTR and keep track of important data, hand your iPad to your child for them to be mesmerized giving you a chance to breathe :-)

Anyways I think they are great and only suited for people who want things that work out of the box without having to read a manual or go through technical support for hours.

Used windows for 14 years switched to mac 3 years ago.

No. Nothing replaces a solid MacBook Pro

    Just my 2 cents...

Really only you can answer that question. A lot of people have opinions yet have never even touched one.

For me personally everything I've done on the Internet in the last week has been 100 percent on the iPad. I haven't needed to touch my other computers, and won't have to unless I run across something the iPad can't do.

But, each person will be different. For me, all I need to do is post here, check and respond to email, check the admin panel, do some writing...etc. Nothing the iPad can't do and do very comfortably.

That's cool, What I think would be great to do on an iPad is do a lot of writing, without getting bored... And that's one of the main area when it comes to internet marketing. Getting bored and losing productivity.

Though I haven't touched an iPad yet. I don't see why any internet marketer can't boost their productivity with this gadgets, iPad looks perfect for content creation (articles/blogs/emails/forum posts). Is it not the perfect gadget that article marketers need to have their eyes on?

Anyway I am hoping for more response from real warriors using iPad for IM.

I tried one out for (3) hours yesterday and couldn't put the thing down. It's very addicting.

I don't think you could use an iPad for lots of writing - maybe for forum commenting but not blog posts or articles. You need a net book at least for that - and even those are hard to type on. I think the iPad would be great for webs surfing though and keeping up with RSS feeds.

    same here,
I also do feel that iPad not ideal for marketing job.
unless you bring a long those keyboard dock and mouse with your iPad backpack it will be much the same practice as netbook.
