I bought these videos and I'm interested in ideas on how to use them

Hey guys,

This thread is about collecting ideas on how best to make use of videos on a brand new website. I hope we all get some interesting ideas going.

The meat:

I'm sure a bunch of you are on Chris Rempel's list. I like the way he writes, so I usually get something out of his stuff.

Anyway lately he had an offer for 60 videos promoting CB products. They were actually very well done videos, and enable you to have your affiliate link embedded directly in them.

Anyway, I bought them with no clear plan on how exactly I'd use them except that I knew I wouldn't be doing any of the work myself. I'm outsourcing it all. It was "only" $197, so no big deal and I'll certainly LEARN something from it.

I have guys in the Philippines to write for me and setup websites. I'm going to hand over the videos to my team and have them develop a site to make use of them. I'll buy a domain and tell them exactly what I want them to do, and I'll coach them on implementation. But I'm not touching it otherwise.

The website building and promotion method:
This is where I'm *really* interested in your views. My initial concept is pretty simple.

Build the site
  1. I'll buy a generic domain like "WhatChrisThinks.com" or something equally silly.
  2. Install wordpress on it. Probably the Thesis theme. Nothing fancy. I already own a copy.
  3. We'll write reviews on all 60 clickbank products, very honest and personable approach to what's good and what's not good.
  4. The video (with clickable link) will be prominently featured right at the very top of each review. haven't decided if these will be wordpress "pages" or blog posts. Either way I'll stagger their publication dates so 60 reviews go up in 60 days.
  5. We'll then have another 20 or so articles on the blog that will go up every week, so the site has continually fresh content. Build once, and never touch for 6 months (or more).
Promote the site:
  1. Directory submissions (10 per day, until we've done a bunch)
  2. Social bookmarking of reviews on several sites
  3. Article submissions (re-use blog posts, have them re-written and submitted to article directories
  4. Blog commenting
All of this will be done over a period of weeks. I'm VERY much interested in thoughts. This is really just a learning experiment to see what works, and I think the entire investment (including the videos) is probably 600-800 bucks.

Feedback? Comments? Criticism?

Wow, considering how hot video is these days, and how much of an opportunity outsourcing is, I'd think there would be piles of suggestions on this thread. Nobody interested in tossing around ideas on how to make some money as an affiliate by using videos on blogs?

It's all going to be about the backlinking and SEO, especially if you're planning on putting them all on one domain. Make sure you find some good long tail keywords to point back to each individual product page to increase your chance of ranking.

    Good luck

Videos will always be viral and it's going to be successful for those people who've gathered big lists to explore these markets. Also, I'll second on the use of long tail keywords because they really could imitate not only relevance but also less volume of competition targeting on a particular niche.
