Would you use this guide? Is there a gap for this? (Clickbank/Analytics)

Hi all,

Just recently I've been dealing more seriously with increasing my conversion rates for clickbank products (I have some that do extremely well, some sites badly, and without hard data at my end I'm in the dark unless I use clickbank's rather rudimentary interface using tids).

Since I work in SEO, the natural option was to go for Google Analytics to really get to grips with what's happening for my visitors - not just what they do, how long they stay, but much more in-depth than that (e.g. "do my organic visitors stay longer on the page vs. PPC?" "what percentage of visitors with X keyword go onto click the affiliate link, and which of THOSE go on to view the sales form?"). To my surprise, despite working with Analytics for a long time now, some of the things I wanted to do I found really poor advice online for, and just had to "fiddle" to see if what I did worked. I found the Clickbank official help pages far too fluffy, without any decent examples, and generally not as helpful as I'd expected.

It got me wondering if it would be helpful to produce a guide showing step by step (with screenshots from a simple example) how to set up a really in-depth Google Analytics profile for a clickbank product, covering very indepth detail such as using custom segments for traffic analysis, setting up decent goals, and so on?

Is there a gap for such a guide/video/whatever? Probably I'd offer for free but with a donation option available - or am I missing a huge resource to help for things like this? I was really shocked at how basic online tutorials were (not even touching some of the advanced stuff I wanted to do, but which were really obvious e.g. "which keywords convert at 50% or over for a clickthrough to my sales page" - that's basic stuff!! Surely!)...
