Would anybody if offered BUY a Domain Name/Webhosting Package for say $20 a YEAR? I would like some feed back on this. Please!

    I wouldn't unless the company is well renowned one and established for years. Like HostGator.

    Or else, it's a clear scam. People prefer monthly subscriptions more as they will less to lose, even if they pay $10/mo.

      Thanks I am just trying to get a Idea here I own a webhosting services was just trying to see if it would fly ....trying to give the newbie a better option if they are just starting out......

    Nope. I wouldn't even do it if it's a well-known company, because I don't like my domain registrar and web host to be the same company.

      Agreed - 100%

      Plus, I think the above poster is correct that the price is low enough that most people will be wary of scams. There's sort of a default expectation of what hosting should cost, and to go much lower than that will make people worry about the quality and longevity of the host.

    I would not go for it. I mean you could be building a web asset for like 6 months and what happens if your hosting company decides to go under. You lose your efforts. That website which you build up could have sold for alot more which could at least pay for 2 years of hosting.
