List Building or Product Creation or Affiliate Marketing or Blogging?

INTERNET MARKETING

Question to some of the finest internet marketers here:

Well.. I do have a service which I am not looking forward to promoting much.

Here's why:

It takes a lot of my time which offers limited amount of income.
It does not help me build my business long term.
I hate working for long hours on something that only offers active income and zero passive income.

I am experiencing excitement and ecstasy because I have made money online. I just want to move ahead.

However...

I ain't generating any active income these days.

Because I don't have a list.
Because I don't have a product.
Because I am just starting out a new blog very soon (It's installed).
I do not want to do a day job either.

So, my question is:

What do I focus on?

Building a list first?

or

Building a product?

or

Marketing a product as an affiliate that offers me Instant cash in my PayPal?

or

Building up a blog with articles and IM product reviews?

or

Performing Article Marketing as a way to generate immediate income?

Yes, I need money now. It's urgent and I need some clarity on what is more important to focus on.

Building a list is crucial to IM success so is sustainability, short term success, long term success & product creation.

Please help.

Well, you kind of need a product to give away to build
your list. Some sort of hypnotically alluring goodie.

If you're determined you can probably bang out a decent
giveaway product in under 48 hours. I don't think you'll have much
success building a list without something cool to give away.

The trick is matching the goodie with the traffic.

  Sorry, but the truth is... there is no quick solution. I know you don't want to hear that, but business is not about making a quick buck.
  
  Everyone will list suggestions here, but no "quick" option will actually work. So you have to decide if you are serious about making money online, or if you want to chase an unrealistic dream (making NO money in the process).
  
  Your biggest priority should be establishing an audience in your niche, so you can find out how to deliver real value to them (focus on THEM above all else). Then, promote affiliate products or create your own solutions that meet their unique needs. This takes time and effort, but WILL make you money... lots of money.
  
  I sincerely wish you luck, and hope you choose the path that will actually lead to real success. It's frustrating to see so many people running into the same "get rich quick" wall.

1) Create a product
2) Create multiple free-line offers related to your main product
3) Give away your free-line offers, and build a list
4) Make sure there's a viral component to this list building, so that each list member can refer others and make money or get free products in return

Master this first before you do anything else.

That's what I would do myself.

When it comes to a list (from what I understand) a 25% open rate is considered great. That means that 75% to 99% of the emails you collect will never open anything after the give away. Even after that they still have to want to click on the link in your email. There is much work to be done before you have a good group of people that go as far as to buy your stuff.

You're not going to build a list - leave alone a list of buyers - using affiliate marketing or article marketing.

So start by creating something of value that you can give to others - whether for free, or for a price.

That "thing of value" is your product. And that's where I would start.

So you mean that a product is key to IM success.

I mean I got to offer some value to get some value in return, is that what you mean?

If that is true, it means that I need a "high-value" product that I can offer to NEW subscribers for free ( this is what Loren said).

I just want a confirmation of what you said as I found it a little confusing.

So product creation is VERY VERY IMP in order to build a list as well.

hmmmmm.. guess what? I still need a confirmation whether I am getting it all right.

I did not understand what you meant by free-line.

I need to prioritize my schedule and manage my time accordingly.

If you really want to make money in IM, its better you have your own product. Because all the profit is yours.
You need to find out what is in demand in the target market
Try to create a product to match the demand
And sell that product

You can do so while making your list. I suggest you not create the product to give away for free. Get PLR or master rights to another relevant product and give that away for free to build the list. Then you have your product to sell to that list and your site visitors.

What you will find is that when you are building your list, not everyone of course will always buy. But everyone is a potential buyer. Once thay have shown interest in the market (since they are on your site they are interested) they can all be potential buyers. You just have to know how to use psychology to turn the potential into actual buyers.

As you know the money is in the list and yes you need to give value. Maybe you can creat some videos showing people how to do something?

You said you have made money online. Why not show people with screen capture video how you done this and give that video away on your capture page.

Better still give the videos away in exchange for warriors names and email addresses if you would like to make money from the IM niche. Do a free WSO and build your list.

At the end of the day you need a list...

You need a product...

And you need good sales copy...

I found this hard myself which is why I knew I had to be an affiliate to make money. So I joined YourNetBiz.com as everything is set up for you all you have to do is set up your capture page and send traffic.

Because a master at driving traffic and you will become rich.

But it wont happen over night no such thing as get rich quick unless you win the lotto.

I dont mean you have to wait years to make money maybe weeks or months.

And another tip. You need to sell high ticket items if you really want to make some good money. I think its a waste of time just selling clickbank products for $30.

I'm not saying dont sell them. Because you still need to but sell a high ticket product up frount like YourNetBiz.com and for the rest of the people on your list that you have built that cant afford for $2,995 to join thats were the $30 clickbank products come in.

Thats the way we work it at YNB and its fantastic.

Building a list is key in this business. Remember it is a business! So repeat customers have more of a chance of coming back if you say "hi" to them every once in a while and remind them you are there.

Building your own product is the most profitable , but starting out as an affiliate and seeing what works at first is GOOD to do at first

Building my list & creating my product.

hmmm.. I get an idea...

Both are equally important!

And...

Creating a great product & sales copy is NOT a problem for me.

I'm a copywriter myself.

I just want to switch over to making money from my own products as well as from other people's products.
