Can I teach people?

It doesn't qualify you for anything - but whether you can teach people is down to whether you are a good teacher and have information they want or need.

If you do - then THAT means you can teach them.

Just don't set an expectation in them that you can't deliver on.

Agreed.. but there are people out there who don't really
making money online but already teach people on how to
make money online.. (You also can see with thousands of
online money making ebook out there)

What do you think about that?

I think that anyone who is teaching people to make money should have made some.

Providing information about a subject you know about and that you have experience that others want is fine - but if making claims of earnings or misleading people is just unethical.

I'm not sure how to see it any other way.

If you're talking about teaching people IM - that's not the same as telling them how to make money.

If you're offering to teach them how to make money then there should be some sort of guarantee or stipulation that you can actually make that happen.

Crossing the line and telling people you can tell them how to make money but then only telling them the theory because you never actually made any money yourself is criminal.

It should be simple.

Personally...

..the only thing people can't or won't or whatever teach how to
multiply their income earnings with a system that can help them
start earning money..

That is call residual income..automatic income that never stops!

Don't have any money?..we can start free until you see it..

Who would think that Traffic exchange could make us rich?..and hey!
how about FFA pages?..No, I don't mean hosting..

Where there is a will there is a way..not really, we have the power..

All we gotta say is.."How to get people to follow you and make you rich"
I say rich because to earn money most of us can do that with familiar
stuff..but, to get rich we need people to do that..and for that we
need a system..

If we try to build a business..come on..People in business that have all kinds
of degrees, experience, etc fails and we a 9 till 5 jobs that we hate comes
in here and expects those folks to build a business "and the reason they fail
we say SO PROUDLY"..get real..

The Internet is a money making opportuinty and we do business as..selling
ebooks, building website, etc..

How to become a millionaire is impossible..we can become a person with a million
dollars..

We want to learn something we must study and practice until such learning
becomes part of our conscious and then we let our conscious be our guide..

Who else?.Our mental illussions?...if it's something practical..yeah, of course
but...

Why do a lot of businesses bankrupt?..they failed to mulitply..Now, is not
lack of education, experience, skills, etc..

Why are Franchises so successful?..Mind you, they are run by teen agers still
going to school no experience etc..

Is not something like Franchises be more suitable to design for people from
9 till 5 that hate their job in a business bring that hate yet to another business
with a failure rate 0f 95%..I say 99% I'll explain that some other time..

I was very successful at the age of 17 years..6 months later I learn about
personal development..I was talk into it because I could learn some manners
in a seminar..however, I discover something very powerful and I couldn't wait
to tell the world about it..

I failed but not because my delivery was poor but because of my youth..Would
you have believe a kid like me back in those days:

Of course not..I never gave up though simply because I got hooked!

P.S. I never have and never will sell such knowledge and knowing unless
is a special to help more folks..I did have an edge though..I was more aware
than the average..thanks to my mom..

  Perhaps, you can really look at people who are already teaching people AND already making money online prior to that.

Just teach what you do best, you can even create a product that teach people how to make 4 figure a month! Someone will be interested...

Hi Nizzura,

I know some people who can make lots of money but they can't really teach it...it is similar to full-fledged Engineers who are not able to teach a high-school students Physics...

Anyway, I think it really depend on yourself...do you enjoy teaching others? do you have the time to set aside for the new student of yours? Are you patient enough to explain to a newbie, starting from square one and bring him to the level of where you are?

It may be a complex system and are you able to simplify it and bring it to the level of a newbie? If yes, what about imparting the lesson on leveraging on the newbie's strength so he can increase by multiple times?

This is what I will be looking for in mentors.

Being good at something and being an effective teacher are really two different skills. It's all an issue of knowledge transfer. You can tell someone how to do something, or you can engage them to the point that they become sponges, soaking up your information. Both methods may work, but the second method will be more effective and probably more popular with your customers.

Of course you can teach people. Having an online business built involves patience and consistency. Which are the exact things needed to become an effective teacher.

First, don't take advice from anyone who hasn't successfully taught others for a fee. You're just going to get theory. So filter advice you get on the warrior forum accordingly.

Second, as someone who has conducted several personal coaching and group coaching programs, I can give you the real world view and here it is.

Teaching is all about one thing - congruence. As long as you are congruent with your message, you'll be effective. Here's why... behavior is more "caught" than "taught". If you teach a class and you come in scared out of your mind, second-guessing yourself or just don't feel like you belong in front of the crowd... then you don't.

No one wins here.

But if you have any decent system... even if it's making a few hundred a month... and you can be absolutely congruent with your message... be 100% confident with your system... be a living, breathing example or "model" for your students... know you're going to show up and deliver the goods...

Then not only should you teach, you're doing your customers a disservice if you don't.

How do you find the real answer to this question? simple... try it out. See if you can even sell the damn thing first of all. Selling coaching requires some skill, so the argument might be moot if you can't pack people in a class.

If you can do that, then just go out there and give it your best shot. If you mess up, no big deal -- everyone will forget about it in a year anyway. If you really screw it up, refund their money. Nothing you can't replace.

But if you get any results, then you'll have stumbled upon one of the most lucrative business models in IM history... especially in this day and age.

Hi Nizzura,

There's a saying that I came across that applies nicely:

"The Best Player May Not Be The Best Coach;
The Best Coach May Not Be The Best Player"

There's no need to be really good at everything, just good at one
thing. You can attempt to teach what you know - no one's stopping
you.

Only after attempting it and spending some time on it, will you
discover whether it works for you or not.
