Looking for developer recomendations

Looking to have some PHP work done on an existing platform. I need to have is modified for another purpose.

I am quite nervous of having "just anybody" work on this because we have tried hard to protect this code and want to make sure it stays that way.

I would love to hear recommendations for a good PHP dev working for outsource type pricing.

    I appreciate the responses, but they aren't really what I am looking for. I know a lot of people here outsource development. I was hoping to hear some recomendations from some or them. There are plenty of places I can go where developers will tell me how good they are. :-)
