What is a good conversion rate?

What would you say is a good sales per view rate for a WSO?

Yup depends on the product... if you make at least close to your $20 back then bump it up again, as long as you are building a list

A high priced product may take a few bumps to make a sale

As mentioned before, a lot depends on your price range. If you're
in the sub-$20 range then your conversion can be as high as 20%,
but as you raise your price conversion falls proportionately.

Be prepared to do several bumps for high ticket items as most
people come to the WSO to look for a "deal" which means, not
a great discount but a great final price. So if you are selling
    a $2,000 product for $500 (75% discount) you'll make less
sale compared to a $100 product sold for $25 (same % discount).

At least this has been my experience. Add to this that the
forum is becoming so popular that you now get less exposure
for your ads. That's why when some people call for a raise in the
WSO fee, they don't realize that the fee goes up everyday
because your cost per impression keeps going up.

I was thinking in the 5% for a under $20 product, but if you can get 20% conversion that would be even better

I did just over 10% fora $27 product, but when the price went to
$37 then the conversion fell to about 7% which is still not bad.

But as you can see as you cross the $30 "barrier" conversion
      drops.

I think it could be a good idea if you could try and post the result here in this thread.

I don't think I would call the WSO buyers "cold".

Many people here already have an idea of the member that is selling in the WSO. Or, they have a good impression of one or two of the people giving a testimonial in the thread.

The rate that gets you a sale

Nah it depends on the product and the price as well as market demand as that will factor in heavily as to what your conversion will be.
