Has anyone found that social bookmarking a YouTube video helps its ranks in the YouTube search?

    Yes.

    There are limited ways your youtube video will get traffic and social bookmarking is one of them.

    The main ones are
    -friends and subscribers
    -organic traffic in youtube and search engines
    -social book marking
    -sharing with lists, friends etc

    So basically unless you have a massive number of subscribers, you need social bookmarking

    Its cheap enough it can't really go wrong. It'll help you rank in Google, which will increase traffic. Not sure if it influences YouTube's ranking or not though.
