Hi fellow Warriors,

I joined the forum sometime in July last year, when I discovered that marketing could also be done on the internet.

Along the way, I learned a lot of things and have made my first 100 bucks. The funny thing was, I never got excited about making my first dollar - because I knew that if I continued to plug along daily with whatever I had learned, I am bound to make some money. Thus, nothing seemed like a surprise or magic. Everything was just a matter of time.

I think one of the little tricks I learned earlier on was to find out what I needed right at that point of time, and then go out and look for useful information and then apply it. The second trick I learned was to determine specifically what I do not know, and then go out and look for the answer. For example, I had started working on an affiliate website and had the big picture in mind. However, along the way, I found out that I don't know how to upload graphics onto my website, so I went out to search for the answer. And then I found out that I didn't know how to drive traffic to my website, so I went out to search for the answer again. I searched for answers by looking for good WSOs or simply googling around. The greatest thing I learned was: People tend to create/write 50 pages long eBooks for questions that can be covered in 5 pages.

The main point is, I discovered that if we break things down into small portions, we can get things done more systematically and ease off on the frustrations.

However, moving forward, I know that my greatest weakness lies in "management". I am weak in managing my time. Because I have so many things that I want to do, I get lost along the way.

Also, I find that I work best when there is someone there to guide me along by teaching and telling me "This is what you should do next."

I find myself lost all over the place without guidance, so what would you suggest? I don't have thousands of dollars to look for a mentor. On the other hand, the specific day-to-day guides that I have picked up along the way, while useful, are not 100% suitable to my situation too. Most of the methods I tried out seemed to be working, and because of that, I get even more lost. This is because out of the 10 methods that I have been trying out, I am not able to pin-point which was the one that made things work for me.

I am able to source for answers for small questions, but I am unable to manage what I should do next. If you were in my shoes, what would you do so that you can accomplish a breakthrough and move forward?

It sounds like you have a lot of good ideas. So maybe you don't need someone else to tell you what to do. Maybe you just need to step back and figure out what you want to do next. Then create a plan for how to do what you want to do. Write it down, and check it off as you go along. For example, you don't know which one of 10 different things is working? You could keep repeating all 10. Or devise a strategy to figure out which ones are working for you.

There are so many different ways to market online. Right now the internet is constantly changing so fast that everyone is constantly learning - even the top marketers. Good luck with your journey! Dee Ross

A long term plan is critical then break this plan down into monthly, then weekly abd daily goals. You and only you know what you want to achieve. It is about having the right positive mindset to achieve your goals.

If you have never read it I suggest you download this free book "Think and Grow Rich" it may have been written many years ago but it is still relevant to today

I think when you really want something, providence provides. Just yesterday, I was frustrated about coming to a standstill. Today, however, I stumbled upon a few amazing information nuggets that have helped me sharpen my focus.

I will be crafting out a personal mindmap in an hour's time (after breakfast) and I hope I'll be good to go after that.

Nothing beats coming to the Warrior Forum to whine, and then receive a few pep talks to get pushed into the right direction. Thank you.

I guess I'll be disappearring off the forum once again to start working on things.

    Many, many thanks!

" For example, I had started working on an affiliate website and had the big picture in mind. Google is really mans best friend you can find out almost anything instantly.

Back on topic you need to work on a project(s) with a partner or a team. That way you have someone to keep you going, a reason to keep your deadlines and support when you need it.
