Just Wrote My First Ten Articles for My Review Site - What's Next?

I finished my first review site about a month ago, and after taking some time work to work on my other blog site, got to work this week, and paced myself by writing two articles a day, and now have ten articles.

Now, I decided to start off easy so I only have one keyword for my site, and the top site on google for my chosen keyword doesn't have too many backlinks.

What's next? Do I just submit them to ezinearticles and articlesbase? Am I just to focus on writing articles until they surpass the number of backlinks for the one of the top 3 sites on google for my keyword?

Also, I've heard a lot about social bookmarking tools like Bookmarking Demon. What are you to do or use when you haven't yet made money to afford software like this?

Your advice is much appreciated. I wanna make this work and am willling to do the work.

Oh, and one last thing, is it necessary that you always include your keywords in the title of your article.

I *highly* recommend you put some kind of opt-in form on your review page, because you want to "keep" as many of your visitors as possible--there's nothing more ineffective than "hit-and-run" affiliate marketing (visitors come, leave [whether you get a sale or not] and never return).

Anyway, more info on that (and step by step instructions) in the free report in my signature.

I recommend you submit your articles to these 5 directories:

    - EzineArticles.com
    - GoArticles.com
    - Amazines.com
    - ArticleDashboard.com
    - IdeaMarketers.com

A more "complete" (and very simple) article marketing strategy can be found on one of my articles: Easy Article Marketing Plan

As far as social bookmarking, a lot of people swear by it, so it couldn't hurt to get some good back-links. Personally, I'd just submit to a handful of them, but if you have the social bookmarking software just submit to as many as you can.

So my word of advice: set up an opt-in form on your page (more info on WHAT to do with your subscribers in my free report), and follow that article marketing plan I gave you the link to! And then stick with it!

Also, since your review site will give your visitors a lot more "options" other than opt-in, I highly encourage adding a secondary opt-in form in the form of Ultimate Footer Ad, or Instant Slideup to make sure that you get them.

Repeat visitors are WAY WAY more profitable than first time visitors. MOST first time visitors just click on your site and leave right away. If you get their email address, however, they might potentially come back one day.

And even better, if they DO buy from your review site... if you got their email address, they might come back again one day and purchase something else!

    Hope that helps!

      Hey man, thanks!

Do you change the title and the first few paragraphs of your articles that you submit to different article sites?

What do you think is the best number of articles is to submit to social bookmarking directories?

Thatz good, now you can start bookmarking those articles in all the social bookmarking sites. I would recommend you to do this manually instead of buying some software which bookmarks your post automatically. Yes the keyword in the title if a must. Then try to get atleast one backlink everyday for your site.

Do some cross bookmarking too while you are on those sites. This will obviously help you in long run.

Threads asking how to do Article Marketing come up quite often here - so I have a standard reply - I hope this helps:

Two brilliant threads to read about article marketing are these:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...marketing.html

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html

Read them both - all the way through - and take notes.

For further information I recommend the following directory - It is education in article marketing - a guide book and monthly newsletters - with a directory thrown in! You can read what Warriors think about it here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...alks-walk.html

Promote My Articles Article Marketing Service

I can also recommend the WSO's from this guy:

This guy also has some good stuff - some article marketing some on other things

    Hope this helps.

You just need to spin the articles and submit it to top articles directories, such as ezines, article blast, etc.

Submit them all to Ezinearticles a couple of days apart. Once they have been accepted then submit them to

      ArticlesBase.com
      Buzzle.com
      SearchWarp.com
      ArticleAlley.com
      GoArticles.com
      Web-Source.net
      ArticleSet.com
      articledashboard.com
      amazines.com

Some can take a long time to publish.

Why not take a look at the offer Muz Azar has on the WSO

This will get you noticed quicker than the articles will.

      Cheers

You must submit those articles to Ezinearticles.com.

Customers go to reviews section before purchasing.

        Good Luck.

Thanks for all your help, but I'm confused about one thing. What goes into writing a proper abstract? I'm a bit confused as to what an "abstract" is and what the best way is to go about writing one for an article that I'm submitting.
