Step-By-Step: How To Setup A Free Autoreponder Using Listwire

Hi all!

You probably know Gary Ambrose's new free autoresponder listwire.

Since I'm new to internet marketing I tried the service because I didn't want to pay anything for my first tests.

At the moment there aren't any help documents on the website, yet and I won't call the configuration intuitiv/straight-forward if you work with an autoresponder for the first time.

So I decided to create a step-by-step tutorial how to setup your first autoresponder using listwire. Probably this tutorial can help others, too.

You can download the PDF at www.myaimbot.com/listwire. I'm not allowed to post links, yet. Just remove the spaces from the address and copy it to the address bar of your browser.

It's free, you don't have to opt-in or something. The PDF has 30 pages with a lot of screenshots. Among other things you will see how a subscription form and your emails look like and how to setup everything, of course.

If you find the document helpful, please use my referral link found in the document, when you decide to sign up for listwire.

If you have any questions/comments please post them here or send me an email. You can find my email address in the document.

Michael

I think listwire is a real autoresponder, too .

But if you go through the tutorial, you will see some differences.

      For example:
      - listwire includes an ad in each follow up mail
      - if you click a link in your follow up mail you'll see a small listwire frame at the bottom of the website
      - you can only create 12 different autoresponders/lists (I don't know if there is a limit in aweber)
      - some options are not working, yet, like verification/unsubscribe redirect URLs (at least not for me at the time I tested them)

I'm curious to know if this is really a free autoresponder, and will look at your tutorial - thanks!

But I'm hesitating considering these two or so features you mentioned - are they still not working? Especially the verification/unsubscribe features.

        Regards, Di

Just wanted to clear a few things up ...

        - The "Ad" in each email is a List Wire referral link, just as you'll find in the outgoing email from companies like ConstantContact, iContact, and InfusionSoft ... all of which are paid services.

        - The link in the followups allows tracking of all clicks in your messages.

        - ALL features are working, and have been since day one.

Infusionsoft provides users the option to remove the branded ad. It's been there for a couple months at least now and we announced it to all users in their application.

(If you use Infusionsoft, read how you can customize the branding of the Infusionsoft branding image in your emails: http://bit.ly/amzkis )

Looked at your service, Gary - looks pretty cool. Hope it grows! :-)

    I know it's Free but...
I setup an account created form etc. When i tested it the verification link in my email it gets redirected to offers/opt-ins from Gary.
People who opted in for my give away product will probable just close the window when they are confronted by all these offers right off the bat.
    Maybe i'm doing something wrong?
    Cheers

Actually, they're redirected to the verification page that contains a built-in co-registration system that puts leads on YOUR list, at no cost ... it's similar to what GetResponse does, but we don't charge you anything for it.

Thank you for the guide =) Is there any limitations using Listwire? And can we migrate our list from Aweber to Listwire?

No limitations EXCEPT you can't import leads into the system ... unlimited followups, unlimited number of leads, you can broadcast, etc ... but, NO imports, period.

If we allowed people to import leads, into a free system, it'd be hours before the fraudsters jumped in and turned us into a spam machine ... that helps no one.

Sounds great, this is just what I've been looking for! I downloaded the ebook and had a read. I have a question, is it possible to use this to give out a free ebook to those who subscribe to the list? Would I host the free ebook on Listwire, or somewhere else such as Click2sell? (I actually host an ebook I sell on Click2sell).

    Thanks.
