Why are buy drugs no script pages so often on .edu sites?

Don't judge, many of us lost our insurance

So why, as in what is the benefit, to putting these "buy xanax (or whatever drug) no script needed" pages on .edu sites, like so

buy xanax no prescription - Google Search

it seems strange to me but apparently there is a good reason since the first page of google is almost all edu sites...? If this is obvious forgive me...(but tell me anyway

    In the pharmacy business on the Internet there's a LOT of money. These guys buy hacked .edu ftp's, upload their script, spam the .edu link with Xrumer, and in a matter of days those .edu sites get to page 1 and stay there until the admin of the .edu site realizes something is wrong.

    .Edu domains have HIGH Trust, that's why the rank so well in Search Engines.
