Hey all. I signed up with email aces and have been waiting since 12pm for my verification email. I created a brand new email just for this. I opened a ticket this afternoon. And I've still heard nothing. Is this the norm and is there any way I can contact the head of the company? I just want to know what is going on????

    Hi,
I cancelled my emailaces account recently after they failed to respond to my support ticket for over a week! Not sure what's going on but good luck.
By the way emailaces is owned by Gary Ambrose a fellow warrior although I don't think he visits the forum too often.

    Hello all,

We respond to all support tickets within 24 hours, without exception, 365 days a year ... and, we have a record of all incoming tickets, and all responses sent.

As for our feature set not working properly, again, incorrect ... our system works properly, as programmed, and has for many years. There is nothing in beta, nothing unstable, and nothing that hasn't been tested against multiple hundred thousand real live subscribers at an absolute minimum.

Based on the tone of that post, this is sounding like someone who imported email addresses using double-optin, who then tried to remove them and re-import without double-optin on ... that's a no-no, and we don't make exceptions on rules that may impact delivery.

    Hey Guys,

I don't use EmailAces but I do know Gary personally...he's a great marketer and not to sound like a huge fan (I am though)...he has always helped me when I asked and taken time.

I know he outsources some things...so things slip through the cracks at times.

Anyhow, I don't wanna see him slammed here.

    Cheers,

    Brad

Just signed for EmailAces few minutes ago!
So let's just hope for the best

Also, Gary I just have one question about EmailAces if you
don't mind answering it... If I believed it I wouldn't have
signed up for your autoreponder in the first place but it would
be good if you could explain this security hole! If it was there
in the first place and if I'll have to keep an eye on my list.

    EmailAces Autoresponder security hole

    regards,

I'd suggest that the person who posted that "flaw" actually try to execute what they're claiming will happen ...

Most systems use numerical information to tag accounts, and for basic database lookups ... it's a speed thing.

I use EA for a client/friend's mailing list, monthly newsletters ... seems to work just well for nearly a year now.

Only hitch, and it's not EA's fault, is getting our emails to AOL email addresses, which is a frequently used email account for my friend's customer-base ... I've gotten her off of AOL and gone global. So it shouldn't be a problem for too much longer as her AOL customer base will be peanuts compared to the rest *grins*

Actually, no one really knows which AR service "most" warriors use. No one has been able to match a Warrior's personal information with their profile and match it up to whatever service they are using. You can't base it on people posts either because I've seen it skewered both ways.

There are plenty of Warriors that use Email Aces and are very happy with their service.

Yes, quite right, I stand corrected. What I was basing this on was a thread I started a few weeks ago about what is the best auto-responder and I think about 90% of responses said Aweber. Sorry for any offence this may have caused.

There are SO many problems with that kind of thinking!

Oracle ran a HUGE campaign saying "48 of the Fortune e50 run Oracle"! So 96% CLEARLY prefer Oracle, right? WRONG! I bet FIFTY of the e50 run MYSQL! HECK, NASA and YAHOO use MYSQL! I'm sure they use Oracle also, but SO WHAT!? Besides, the E50 is only FIFTY BIG Ecommerce companies. Likewise, many here might have used various autoresponders. Some, like Barbara might not use a service.

I've used Email Aces for years. During that time I've
submitted a few tickets and they have always been
    answered courteously, professionally and promptly.

The majority of those tickets were due to problems
    with cancelled PayPal subscriptions!

I have thousands of subscribers on over 50 different
lists and I've had no problems with the reliability or
    performance of the system.

Thanks John. I did get my email and a response. I just wondered at the length of time it seemed to take. But, when I did a test the delivery was instantaneous. So things are good. Righteous!
