"Your account is also open at another location"

I was looking at a gmail account and I got this message (the one in the title).

Then it says that it might indicate that these locations were from the same computer.

Should I be worried or not? I changed my password, just to be safe.

How do I know if it is in trouble?

    Hmm..

If you changed your password I would guess you're probably safe.

Unless you have a keylogger or some other monitoring program on your computer.

Been logging in using public wifi or public computers? Any chance you where fished/logged into a fake Gmail looking site?

Sign up for any "shady" websites with the same password?

I'd venture to guess that since you changed the pass you'll be alright.

Hmmmmm....no public computers or wifi...and I always go directly to Google and log in, so no phishing....

I also use different passwords (long, complicated ones, at that) for all of my accounts that I sign up for.....drives hubby crazy.

      I will check it later.....

I think I am okay.....the activity all shows the same IP address, which is mine.

Wow, you had me worried for a moment. Someone got into my back account using my credit card no. and withdraw all my cash a few months ago. It was not even the one I use on the Internet. I was told by police that they get the no. from the slips produced when you use cards in shops and so forth.

A terrorist on trial recently said he buys these slips from taxi drivers for so much each, I think he said $10, and they use it overseas to withdraw the cash.

Just a warning for others. Protect your card no. at all costs.
