Iphone customer can't download product?

Today, I had a customer who ordered a digital product of mine. Four minutes later, she emails me saying she is using an Iphone and can't download the product. She did not specifically ask for a refund -- just said she can't download the product.

I do not own an Iphone and have no understanding of what's possible on these devices. Does Iphone support .ZIP download files? Does Iphone support PDF files? My .ZIP download folder contains multiple PDF files.

Assuming that Iphone doesn't offer support for .ZIP files or PDF files, then my options are:
1. To refund her.
2. To send her a physical copy of the information product.

Can someone confirm what features the Iphone offers? I am wondering whether this is simply a creative ploy for a refund.

    Just did a quick test, created a .ZIP file with one .PDF file, uploaded it to my webspace and tried to download it using Safari on the Iphone.

    It says:

    Download failed
    Safari can't download this file.

    But the fact that the easy way doesn't work, does not mean that it's impossible...

    You cannot download zip files as well as any other type of file that can't be read directly in the safari browser itself. I believe PDF is okay as it can be read in the browser.

    Thanks Michael for testing this. And Gene, thanks for letting me know that PDFs are OK. I am very glad to hear that the iPhone supports PDFs!

    I will send the customer to a password protected directory with all the PDF files. That should solve the problem.
