An impressive landing page...

Hey,

Thought i share a landing page which i came across that has some
interesting methods or techniques you could apply to your own.

1) First of all i came across the site after closing a porn video, lol :rolleyes:
the window was centered to the screen with around 600 x 600 in
dimensions, was that a coincidence or some clever trick to get you centre
focused, especially after watching that!

2) Within a few seconds an intellectual man starts talking about how
you could make money with Google, quite convincing, but blabbers on a bit.
Good opening sentence...

"Would you like to make $5000 a month?"

3) From a quick scan of the website you focus on three key
successful selling strategies, these are...

• The recognized companies (cnn, aol e.t.c)
• The portrait photo of the owner
• The Google Adsense report

These are all above the fold to.

4) The "About Me" text on the right says...

"Hi, I'm Scott and welcome to my blog. I live in Brisbane with
my wife and great kids..."

I live in Australia and this guys lives just up the road from me, is this a
geographic javascript or just another coincidence? Great idea!

5) Everyone one likes photographs with proof of the product working,
especially Adsense Reports. Just scroll down to the very bottom for
comments section made use for the testimonials,
this comes to my next point...

6) I don't know but you, if i search for information and come across a
site that looks to be a landing page, i pretty much close them straight away.
you can spot them a mile out, notice how this website looks like a typical
blog but acts as a sales page, makes me want to stay and have a look.

7) Comments disabled due to spam. Anti-Spam plugins?

Their are some ideas for you to think about. Be creative

PS: The website URL is not an affiliate, for some reason the homepage
displays blank, and this is the page i first came to, i think there is some
geographic scripting going on in the URL.
