Any offliners offering mobile marketing services to their clients?

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with offering clients mobile marketing / texting services.

Do you just set them up with a company that offers this and let them handle it themselves? Or are there companies where you can build multiple lists and then you send out the messages for them?

TIA,
Jennifer

I use a local company that offers shortcodes and a whole load of VOIP stuff. We don't pass the client over though, because we have a wholesale account with Mobile company.

Thanks Steve. Is it a popular service with your clients?

I just had a meeting with an offline client ( a bakery) today. They will use an SMS service, but not for marketing. Bit too complex to explain without giving away the niche.

I've found SMS to be an ok performer, but never once has it closed a deal. It's just candy ontop of more serious stuff. Well, apart from the text to screen service that we had with a few bars and clubs.
