You also should try submitting articles to Ezine articles and the other popular directories. You could make a video and put it on youtube and possible get good ranking in google.

The trick is to find keywords that you can rank well for and start driving traffic to your site.

Absolutely.

Failing that, I would say article marketing. Produce at least a couple of articles per day for a month or so to build a flow of traffic. If you have a blog built in, then that will help the site rank better too, even if you only post once every couple of weeks.

Just be sure that you're blogging and writing articles based around keywords that have less competition (so that you can rank well for them).

There is really no magic solution to the question of traffic. It is a lot of hard work. It takes a lot of time too to build regular readership. When I first started blogging, I use to get about 30 visitors per day. After doing it for a year, my traffic is close to 5000-7000 a day.

I am not sure what exactly happened but comments finally started coming in which a nice thing to see. It's all a learning process, I guess..

I would use media buys on related websites and definitely forums. For some reason forums always seem to convert for the niches I enter. However, this can take time as you need to set your self up as an authority in the niche.

I am off subject here, and I do apologize. But, please help.
I found your post about switching to iGrOOps. I was looking into what they have to offer and just wanted to make sure they were on the up and up. I asked about membership sites on Twitter and the founder sent me the url. It looks like it might be the right thing to use for me. I don't have a clue what I am doing in this direction, but the directions seem easy.

Please let me know your impression of them and if it is working properly for you.

I think any PPC or Adwords will be expensive if you do not develop a strategy for using it. So stay away from it as much as you can until you start seeing revenue. I suggest optimizing and using Off-Page SEO tactics such as forum and blog posting and commenting and of course Article Marketing.

BTW: there is NO fast way of getting traffic. You either pay for it or work hard for it!

Content Syndication. This is basically article marketing on steroids. Instead of submitting your website to the common directories such as ezinearticles, articlesbase, goarticles, etc. You will submit your articles to popular websites or blogs within your niche.

For the internet marketing niche you will want to try IMnewswatch.com, Site-reference.com, and betternetworker.com.

These websites have the ability to get you much more targeted traffic than standard article directories.

Don't get me wrong, I am not against the "standard" article directories. I have written over 750 at ezinearticles.com

There are many ways to generate traffic to your site.
If you looking to generate traffic fast l would suggest generating traffic via social media, but if you looking for good targeted traffic l would advice you on article marketing.

Article marketing, participating in forums, and if you don't have a blog create one.

If you choose to go the forum route, provide comments that have some value. Most forums can spot a fake a mile away.
