I have a site that got indexed by Google about a week ago; however it is indexed with the wrong html tags. I was wondering is there a way to change the information of the indexed html tags to something different that you want to display?

If so how can I go about doing this?

I really do not want to delete the site and start from scratch again.

    What do you mean by "indexed with the wrong html tags"? I would guess you're talking about the title and description displayed in Google. If that's the case, then you just need to change the meta tags inside your pages to whatever you want them to be, then wait for Google to browse your site and update the new information.
