What happened to Power Article ReWriter? Sebastian Kohl?

I've been trying to buy PAR for the past few days, but can't seem to bring up the site. Also, not getting any response from Sebastian Kohl through pm. Is he still in business?

      I had some issues after I purchased this product with the activation key but sebastian was able to take care of after a few days. It took a few emails and at least 4 days of waiting...

    I don't know if anyone is interested, but I just got ArticleAgentPro by Steve Mount, and I am happy with it. It rewrite, but does not have a synonym feature. But it submits your rewrites to ezinearticles and articledashboard.

      Well it is good news that it is easy to write, but the most important fact especially with such a software is how easy it is to use and how effective are the resulted articles.

      Spinning articles to produce sensible articles with an easy to use and not time consuming software from what I saw in the market seems a challenge.

        True. If you are wanting o produce a decent number of unique articles then it will take you a while to set up. If you're preared to put the time and effort into setting one up properly then you should get good results. Also, the longer you spend doing such as task, the better the results and the higher level of uniqueness you can reach.

        If I want unique articles on SEO, IM etc then I write them myself. If I want mass articles then I use a tool. If I want to rewrite one article on a subject that I'm not too comfortable with, I use a tool.

        At the end of the day, there are options there but you may still choose to write everything yourself. Do whats right for you.

        A crap spinner may be easy to write, lord knows many crap ones exist... There is already a few good tools that are user friendly and do not take a long time to produce very readable articles... No challenge at all if you choose to use the proper tool...

      PAR came out before Brad's spinner. I remember Sebastian posting the vidoe of Brads wondering why it looked exactly like his. That may be the reason he isn't selling his any longer. Personally, I would have went the lawyer route for copyright infringement.

    I wasn't sayin that he ripped off Brads software. I've heard mixed opinions on this. All I was saying is that both are near enough identical to one another. Something fishy has gone on either way.

    I agree with you.... who's ever software it was orginally, I would have taken legal action.

    Power Article ReWriter is still going I think, I am currently using the 15-day demo version.

    I notice that Brad's version (they DO look EXACTLY the same) is selling for $97, while Sebastian's PAR is going for $67. I sure would like to know how two identical programs are out like this, though.

    I hear you James, I guess I got a bad experience with one which is a famous one as well. It took all my time - which is very limited - to figure it out. A time that I should be using for marketing rather than figuring out a tool. I don't mind investing time now to save all the time later which I do in many areas, but that was totally useless.

    My formula requires three versions of the same article. I found out that I save a lot of time by writing them myself as if making changes on PLR articles rather than using a tool and having to proof read every version and still make changes to make it readable and sensible.

    Yet I did not lose hope, I am waiting for one spinner to come out to see if it can help me.

    But Actually I came here because I heard some initial good review about PAR, but when I came here I realized it was dropped.

      This software already exists in various guises. Anybody new to this field will already have stiff competition.
      I don't know the background to all of this.

      Is it possible that one or other of the parties sold unrestricted PLR, or a license to the software? With the expectation that the other party would change the product's 'look and feel' before promoting it?

      Just my question.

    It funny, the website was up just a few days ago. I went back today and couldn't access it.

            As far as I know, this software has been dead for several months. I bought it and used it regularly, but started having trouble, so I went to his forum and it was overrun with pornography and other junk. I emailed him and then received a URL for his new forum, but the last time I looked that one was crap now too, though it's been awhile.

            The last time I tried to use the software I got a virus. I removed it, downloaded it again and tried to use it, but my anti-virus software keeps telling me that it's infected. I tried to reach Sebastian again a couple more times, but never got a reply after that.

            It really sucks because that's the best article rewriting software I've ever used by far. It was clean and simple. It also ticks me off because I spent money on a product that I can't use anymore.

              I'm working on a web based one though it's not nearly as nice yet and doesn't really work yet. I mean it works, but the spinning is done server side and on my host, the memory limit gets reached so you don't get output. When I run it locally it runs well.

              Maybe I'll make it a point to finish it over the holidays. Right now it's not quite as simple but my end goal is a complete javascript clone of PAR.

                In fact, this software was not down for months.
                I could use it before 12-20, but recently, it was down.
                Can anybody recommend some other software like this? It should be on time fee and can generate txt articles.
                If possible, it should be as clean as PAR.

              This is why many of us build and use online tools ... A great deal cleaner and more reliable without the worry of infections.
