Landing Page on My Blog?

Frankly speaking, I am really a beginner at Affiliate marketing. Although I have heard that many people attract potential comsumers by optimizing their landing pages, I am not familiar with the process of creating landing page.
Yesterday, I wrote a review about Hawk Host web hosting service (following my personal eperience). In this article, I put some links with my HawkHost Affiliate Referral Link into this post and hope that some webmasters and bloggers can purchase this hosting service through my Referral Link.
So, according to your experience, can this article be regarded as a landing page? If the answer is "yes", so can you tell me some tips about how to optimize this page to attract more visitors?
Here is my Hawk Host Review and you can show your tips after checking it. Thanks!

I'm no expert but my understanding is that a landing page is a page that someone would go to from a advertisement such as Google ads etc.

A quick look at your site and my comment would be that I have no idea from, a brief look, and I understand you need to make the impression straightaway, what we call to action is that you are trying to achieve. So for example your landing page should be very simple with everything above ' the fold line' i.e. viewable on screen without scrolling, and a clear call to action i.e. click this link with big red arrows pointing to it except, the simpler the better. If you look at the big name marketers websites you'll see that these days they have a simple video on the left-hand side with an arrow on it saying click to watch and then to red arrows pointing to either 1) click now but the on the right-hand side or 2) enter your name address and e-mail address again on the right all of this immediately visible on the screen when you arrive and nothing lower down on the page. Hope this helps

every page on the internet is a landing page. some just are better than others at leading you where to click and pre-selling.

do SEO for web hosting related keywords. the company itself + review is a GREAT keyword if their is volume on it.

There are a number of differnet things you need to do to when creating a landing page.

Firstly, you need to set up an experiment to test how well the page is performing. You then need to come up with a way of sending QUALITY traffic to it.

I have just finished a Video Course on doing just this. I would really appreciate some feedback on it too

Hope this helps (the link is in my signature)

The key is to get people who are already interested in purchasing your webhosting to your page.
Thanks for your answer and I have gained many good tips from your answer indeed.
But could you tell me how to get targeted traffic and attract those potential consumers?
You see, PPC is not my choice because I don't have enough money to afford it. So, what I want is just how to gain as much as free traffic.
