Social Bookmarking software

I just closed the WSO, but a few people are begging, er, asking for it, so I left the Coupon live for a few more days.

We just did another update to the sites (that's automated) so there's more in there to bookmark too. We also removed sites that went under or were having ongoing technical issues.

I just bought this but I have no idea how to install it..

What's the difference between Big Mike's socialbot and bookmarking demon? Also, are these for traditional sites only? Can they be used for WP blogs? What about WP Traffic Suite? Does anybody use that? Supposedly, it does everything for WordPress. Any thoughts?

Its free and works great for firefox

I use this too - after the initial tedium of logging into 50 sites, it's a very effective way of gaining quick attention - I had 1,2,3 and 5 of Google on the 13th with an indented at 2 for the keyword "Ask Rob Bell" - still at 2,3 and 4 today.

How effective are these programs at driving traffic without getting you tagged as spam? It seems to me like spidering my site and submitting a bunch of those urls would end up just getting me banned from the site. Does anyone have a strategy that has proven effective at avoiding this?

Yes, the best strategy is to post in moderation. Dont over do it. They track Ip addresses so dont have any more than 1 or 2 accounts on each site without using a proxy. Just make your submissions look natural and you wont have a problem. hundreds a day isnt natural. Also change the description a little with each submission, this also makes it look natural.

I use BMD but haven't tried Big Mike's software yet so I can't give you a great comparison either. I am sure they both do as advertised. BMD is in beta now with a new release so it still has some bugs in it so that might sway you right there.

I've got BMD, SENuke, Auto Social Poster, use SocialMarker and all the rest of it, but what actually brings me Traffic? - StumbleUpon. And in huge great gobs. If you're short of time, StumbleUpon is the real deal.

If you are using these tools effectively you shouldn't be after traffic from them you are after the anchored links for ranking in the search engines which will, in turn, bring the traffic.

Hey, Mike, got SocialBot at such a great discount but I haven't started using it yet.

I'm new to this stuff and would appreciate any advice. What's the ideal frequency of submitting a site to social bookmarking sites? Would once be enough? Or do I have to keep submitting the same site more than once?

If yes, how far between should each submission be?

First off, I'm not an affiliate or any way related to these guys.

The best social bookmarking site by far that I've found is auto social poster. I've tried a few and I've always came back to this plugin. Ah, and yes it's for wordpress. I did not know what platform or raw coding is being used.

Expensive but it just works.

I have only just started bookmarking and stumbleupon seems to be the best so far.

Although, I wouldn't have come across it if I hadn't but up socailmarker.com

Doesn't that software only make you bookmark you're own stuff?

I'm still not sure why people do that (bookmark their own stuff rather than get other people to bookmark it), but when you can get free plugins for it - why did you pay so much for something that you can do for free?
