404 Pages Please Help

INTERNET MARKETING

I was trying to use the redirect link on my host gator account and now I have error pages when I go to click on the read more tab of my home page.

All I can see now is my home page and all the other links on the blog get a 404 error page. When I asked host gator for assistance they said to check my .htacess code. Not sure what that is or how to do it?

Does anyone know how to do it? If someone can explain it to me; I would greatly appreciate it.

in addition, check out the Google Webmaster Tools for 404 Pages... they are doing some interesting testing right now

You might also like to check if you are trying to open affiliate programs pages that are giving the errors. You don't state where you live and I had problems like this with some programs that only work in USA. The solution for me to see them was to change my PC clock to eastern USA time.
