How to increase click rate

I am getting many visitors but not able to market my links through them. Very few people are clicking the links and could find no sales. How to improve the click rate? Can some suggest

    What are you promoting?

    Is it your own site or an affiliate site?

    Where are the links on the website? What does your headline say? Is it enough to trigger the emotions of people?

    This will help everyone here I think to understand your situation better and give you a valuable answer.

    If it's adsense your speaking about, then keep your page minimalistic. I don't mean in the content, but in it's looks.

    Remember if it's the adsense click you're after, then don't give them any where else to click other than adsense, or at least they'll have to use their browsers 'back' button to escape.

      Go find and read My Life in Advertising and Scientific Advertising by Claude Hopkins if you want to learn how to create attention grabbing headlines that will get people to click. It's a great place to start and you can find it free on the internet (though I bought my copy on Amazon for a few bucks).

      Michael Cheney has an interesting 7-day course called adsense videos that he gives away to get you to buy a full adsense course. Turns out the free content is a really good primer and may give you all you need (it's here: Blast your AdSense earnings through the roof.. (not an affiliate link)).

    You have to tell them what they will benefit from the product you are trying to pitch. Don't sell them the product, that's what the product's sales letter is for. Just remind them of their problem and emphasize how each of their problems can be alleviated with x product. Tell them the benefits of the product and to click here to learn more of it and the link will be your affiliate link.
