Where can I find good coaching?

I've been working in IM for a while and have been struggling and battling my way through it. I've made money for a while now, but not enough to quit my day job, and every day feels like a battle because I am still learning how to drive traffic.

Anyone know of any good coaching I can get? Preferably the kind that doesn't cost thousands of dollars per week would be great. Let me know. Thanks.

    You need not pay thousands for coaching. Having been a marketer, you know your strengths and weaknesses or can easily be helped to identify them.

    It would be helpful to know what strategies you use. Then these can be refined and those that you do not use can be reviewed.

    For example if you use article marketing, how often do you post? Where do you post? What kind of products do you normally promote? Do you have blogs? Are you active in forums? Do you use Ezines?

    There are many issues that can be reviewed in order to improve your position in this very interesting field. You are very wise and right to seek expert advise.

      Wow. Thanks for the tip with Zeus, I will definitely save up a few bucks for his WSO.

      My problem right now is that everything I'm reading or studying in WF or elsewhere is teaching me vague generalities about how to make money online, and nothing specific to how I'm making money online. I need someone who can take a good look at what I'm doing and help me evaluate my next steps for moving into the full time affiliate arena.

      And for those who are sending me info about WSO's that are simply products or guides, please stop. I am not interested in a guide, I already have plenty of those. What I need right now is a mentor and not another make money online product...

    OK how about this. I don't sell any IM related stuff online and I don't make my living teaching it. I have however started compiling some recordings of mentoring I've done with a vague notion that I will enter the IM market 'one-day'.

    I'll give you 30 minutes on the phone (skype to skype) I'll review what you've got and what you've done......with no strings. The catch? Let me record the call for future use.

      Whoever you decide on, you might want to keep this in mind.

      Not all coaches, no matter how good they are, are going to be a good fit
      for you.

      For example. Somebody may be excellent at generating content as a way
      to get traffic. But if you have no desire to write and don't have the money
      to outsource the writing, learning his method of traffic generation will be
      worthless to you.

      If somebody is an expert at pay per click and you have no funds, again,
      that training isn't going to help you in the short term.

      You need to look at what it is you think you need help with and find
      somebody who matches up to those needs.

      If you don't even have a business model then you want to find somebody
      who is skilled at creating one.

      Just because somebody is successful doesn't mean they can help you.

      Also, you want to get verification that this person is actually walking the
      walk and not just full of BS. There are a lot of people out there who talk
      a good game but don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. So get
      references if you can. Get verifiable income proof. Hell, research the
      person online. Anybody with a presence will be out there.

      Yes, some people fly under the radar, but then those folks probably
      aren't looking for students anyway.

    My two favourite courses are Mark Ling's AffiloBlueprint and Traffic Ultimatum. I've joined both of them and the difference in my results is incredible. I've learned (and am still learning) so much. Neither of them cost thousands - they are both a one time cost of $197 which is a steal!!

    AffiloBlueprint staff and Mark Ling critique your website for you which has obvious benefits and the forum members are also extremely helpful. It has helped me to understand why some of my older sites were not profitable and what I needed to do to make my web pages convert into sales. I know we are bombarded with one IM product after another - I joined AffiloBlueprint 18 months ago and it is the only path I'm willing to follow because it works.

    Mark Ling is one of the foremost internet gurus but he is also one of the most sincere people I know.

    I was about to start a thread on this exact topic, so I thought I might as well add my $0.02.

    I seem to be in the same position as Cataclysm1987. I've been struggling with IM for about 5 months. During the Christmas rush, I made a couple of hundred dollars, but haven't made a dime since then. I have a number of guides and resources as well as just about all the tools one would need to succeed, but I can't seem to put together a working strategy.

    If anyone offers any kind of coaching/mentorship services geared toward helping a a very determined young marketer, I would be very interested in walking with you.

    Yes, there are good coaches but still not all their concepts, resources and teachings may match your needs. Sometimes, it's even how you explore the training program and utilize it to apply your own business makes better results. That's how Tyrone Shum succeeded after joining Yaro Starak's Mastermind course.

      I can guess that you already have the knowledge that it takes to be successful in this industry. I can also guarantee that you have been exposed to at least 5+ sources that you can use for traffic that are free.

      The problem is this... I bet that if you took the knowledge that you currently have, you could find at least one strategy and master it and generate the traffic that you wish you had.

      If you have been in this game for awhile....believe in what you already and take massive action on it.

      You can buy endless amounts of courses, endless amounts of coaching time and still be stuck in the same place if you never take the action that you need to succeed in life and in business.

      It is all about choices.

    Helisell again here....

    I'm thinking of doing a one-day seminar close to where I live..(Junction 36 on the M6. UK) so that we can get a feel for what a future IM workshop should contain.

    If there are any I'Mers on here who would be interested in attending then please let me know.

    It'll just be a day of content and q and a's, resources, show some of the methods we've been using etc etc.

    It will be completely free and there will be no pitch....cos we aint got nuffin to pitch at the moment.

    I may want to video the day for future reference.

    I've been at this for over 5 years now, not in the IM market, and operate mostly under-the-radar. We are heading rapidly towards the $half mil per annum so definitely have stuff to talk about.

    There is a real irony here because I don't submit articles, I rarley pay for traffic these days, I have NO JV partners, I don't do any affiliate marketing and basically apart from customers service...(which we are really good at) I don't do too much else.

    I'm willing to share a fair lot of what we do with a free seminar so that we can develop a paid version in the future.

    Have you not made enough to quit your day job because you don't have a plan to do so, OR you have a plan and you haven't had time to execute it?
