Infusion soft asks your subscribers to report you for spamming!

This is insane...

After seeing this I could never recommend anyone use infusion soft as an email list manager.

After you opt out of an email you are redirected to a page on the infusion soft website that simply asks one question:

"Would you like to report this message as spam"

And offers you two buttons "yes" or "no"

You can see for your self by going to this page and opting out (it will be a null value but it will still show you the redirect page:

https://m219.infusionsoft.com/opt

Why any email list management company would suggest to an opt-in subscriber that they had been spammed is beyond me...

But that is what happened when I just unsubscribed From Matt Bacak's newsletter.

I had opted in so there is no reason for them to ask me if I want to report him for spam. That is ridiculous.

    Wow, that is absolutely crazy.

I'm with you on that one. I cannot believe an e-mail providing company would do that.

Good thing we have choices right.

And people thought that aweber is bad

I think not so long ago Rod Cortez too brought up this issue here on wf.

I unsubscribed from a few lists run by infusionsoft and I noticed that spam reporting option after unsubscribing. My only thought was that: why would I mark a message as spam which I received with my own consent?

I am glad I didn't sign up with their service

And you'll notice in that thread:

I still never got a straight answer. That's okay, I marked Infusionsoft off my list already. There's plenty of other options out there.
