The Butterfly Marketing Software Package

So, I got this software, CGI script package for free from a package that I bought online, it was a bonus and was free. It's called "Butterfly Marketing" I had never heard of it, so I thought I'd check it out. I did some research and found it's supposed to help with PPC and CPA websites, but I can't figure out, how to use it, or even if I should bother using it?

Anyone have any information about this tool? Anyone use it? is it worth it? Supposedly, it was going for $1700 - $2000, and I got it for free for buying something else.

I guess I just want to know if anyone has any advice or opinion on this software package.

Is it similar to Affiliate Genie? I found that one online last night, and it sounds like the same type of thing, but maybe a little more user friendly. I'm just really confused.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really tired of having so many questions, and 0 answers.

    The Butterfly Marketing Software Package has recently gone open source, which probably is why you were able to get it for free. When it was selling on the market it was priced around the $2000 price point that you mentioned. The main incentive for this software is that it helps you create and maintain membership based websites (meaning that the process of setting up a site where a user can create a username and password, as well as the whole process of creating your own affiliate program within the site, is automated). Butterfly Marketing will integrate with your autoresponder which will help you build your list. Or if you are not just using it to build your list, you can use it to deliver your content in members area (that's where the membership site automation comes in).

    I'm not familiar with Affiliate Geenie, so I can't comment as to whether or not it is similar to that.
