Do you pay for articles?

Why pay for articles when you can get them for free at the article sites?

The main reason you pay is for original content, not articles that have been re-spun endlessly.

To get original contents that you can claim as your own. You will also be facing duplicate content penalties if you don't have original content in your sites.

Yeah, you need to reword everything anyway to spin it, which is almost as much work as writing the thing. I'm not keen on writing so I outsource and get every article written so it's my own original content and I get them written in a spinnable form. In the end, all versions out there are mine, and not versions of someone else's material.

    1. I don't have to use someone else's resource box.

    2. Original content.

    3. More control over content.

    4. Easier for us to perform quality audit checks.

    5. Spinners suck.

I pay for articles by outsourcing from an assistant on Odesk.

It works great because she knows exactly what I want in an article.

You don't ever want to use someone else's material for many reasons such as duplicate content and the fact of stealing it which could get you into trouble.

I'm on you and I do the same. I outsource article for article marketing for better "marketing" performance as this virtual staff does all the keyword research, market evaluation plus factual research in composing original articles but when it comes to my own blog posts, I do it myself since I prefer to always have that personal touch.

    1. Unique articles not only perform better in search engines, but appeal more to readers. If you've just found the same article on three or four different sites (yes, this has happened to me), are you going to sit and read through it again?

    2. You won't have problems with plagiarism, and if you do, you know exactly who the content came from. Your chances of getting sued drop if you have a reliable and honest writer. Who knows where the article directory article came from?

    3. You can get higher-quality articles. This depends on hiring a good writer, of course, but I'm generally unhappy with directory articles. They generally range from 'meh' to downright 'who the heck wrote this and what were they on?!' quality. Many of those articles don't really have a point, or are blatantly self-promotional.

    4. You can get articles about the weirdest subjects. Want an article about underwater basket weaving competitions in Siberia? There might not be any directory articles about it, but you can hire a writer to create a custom article and capture all the searches for underwater basket weaving competitions in Siberia.

    5. Perhaps the most powerful: you can do anything with the article. Tweak it, test different resource boxes, remove the resource box, turn it into an ebook or short report, you name it. With directory articles, you're often pretty limited and you usually have to keep the resource box or copyright notice.

The five reasons off the top of my head that people need to pay for their own articles.

I outsource article writing for quality content and SEO keyword strategies.

I tried spinners and it's a lot of work... I think I could write an article faster than it takes to set up all the spinning stuff and even then... I don't think they sound, look or have the appeal as the original article you first created.

    LOL cdarklock!

But yes, having original written articles is the way to go. But then again how would you know if those outsourced articles are not spun and reused as well?

Safe to say, do it yourself. Add your personality, people like it when you keep it real!

I got my articles written by a good skilled writer (odesk, textbroker, warriorsforhire). I can check it to assure that it's worth paying for. Spinners won't do good at all. Nice one CDarklock

You can use a good spinner like "TheBestSpinner" which really produces somehwat unique articles from existing ones, and they look actually legit and not like you typical spun garbage.

But i still prefer to pay my writers because there is a ROI and i really cant and don't want to spend even more time/day writing articles from scratch. (Even if i do it occasionally). $4-$5 for a very well written article with good keywords...you only need one sale and get this back many fold just from one sale. Better than wasting money on adwords for sure!

I think it is time that we took some responsibility for the quality of info on the web. We need to protect what is an amazing creation. If we don't take responsibility for only posting quality information, people will soon turn away if they feel they are not getting good info they can trust. Therefore we need to also make sure all content is original.

Remember that if you take article from article sites you have to include the resource box when you repost it elsewhere, if you paid for the articles you can include your own resource box.

I use Plr articles and rewrite them.

I know this takes a little while but it avoids writers block.

A good resource of say 100,000 means you can do your own research on your desktop and use a few paragraphs and then add your own info to the article. Self spinning I guess.

Say I was wanting to write an article on relationships I can search my article data base and pick some good headings, Get a few ket statements and then just craft my articles around that.

By using this method you can do a lot of articles in a few hours.

I also outsource articles for special interest jobs.
