The ULTIMATE in "legal" STUPIDITY!

I was going to write about this, but forgot to check its veracity, so I never wrote on it. NOW it is on the news with more detail.

A company acquired technology that they NEW, and ADVERTISED, as being a PROTOTYPE with TRADE SECRETS! They KNEW the true owner, as most people on the planet would. Instead of giving it back, and possibly getting a handsome reward, they TOOK IT APART! They advertised it over the internet even without knowing if this would be released or how it would be released.

OK, NOW the jerks home was searched, the stolen property was seized, and the REAL owner has RIGHTFULLY, declared it a FELONY! Receipt of stolen goods, and destruction of private property, and release of trade secrets, and probably other things, I would say they have a good case!

And what does the person that stole it say? They say it is THEIR property! They say they bought it from the bar where it was left! They say they should not have had to deal with this.

MY GOD, HOW are they not simply handcuffed, with the police getting a good laugh at such a MORONIC claim! After all, they told the WORLD who the real owner is, and what it is. The ONE thing they really got for this is excellent evidence that all they are saying now is a pack of lies. If they were shown to have been lying, or that they are wrong, they are probably guilty in some other way.

So he stole the prototype (I'm guessing the new iPhone) from the company he worked for? Or was he just a random person who found it at a bar?

Well when Apple asked for it back, he returned it (according to the above story). So it's ok.
