Are You Getting More Refunds Lately?

Hey Warriors,

I have noticed in the last month or so that my refunds for 'make money' products have increased.

Things like Forex and Affiliate Manuals have been selling very well but the refund rate has been much higher. My suspicion is that this is due to the current economic crisis (if Im regurgitating the terms I heard on the news)

It seems like people want to make more money but perhaps they aren't willing to fork out the small amount of cash that required to show them how.

Your Thoughts?

Are sales up, too? If so, that would be more people trying the product and giving up on it.

I haven't seen an increase in refund rates.

I don't sell "make Money" products but I have noticed a slight increase in refund requests.

I've been getting more refunds lately too... I was just about to ask the same question. It makes me not even want to look in my transaction details anymore. lol

Funny you ask, because I was going to ask today was anyone getting less refunds! My Clickbank account usually has an overall refund rate of 10-15% every month - this month it's 0% so far (and I do promote IM products as well as non IM). I know the month is far from over yet, but I'd usually have a few refunds by now.

Nope. (99.9% of my products have nothing to do with making money either).

Would love to have access to a refund database to block those users. I love Eban's "No Hoser" clause...it should include tire kickers...they waste support time and money and honestly just not worth the time imo.

NOTE: one caveat...if a product blows then that's another story...can't blame someone from refunding on those.

I haven't seen more refunds than normal, but I've had several "unauthorized transactions" (according to PayPal) and as a result, lost quite a bit of money.

A bad economy makes people do weird things.
