I want to pay you for YOUR idea. $50 - $100 ?

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone in these forums.

I love pushing buttons, playing devil's advocate, and questioning everything... and many of you have been patient. Part of me, though, feels bad... that I've received so much help already and have not contributed myself. I am at a point where I want to pull my own weight.

I've set up a few projects and made a couple sales off Clickbank... but I want to step it up a notch. I want to incorporate a huge list, promote additional digital products, and offer non-digital products as well.

I will start this new project on 05/01/10 and my goal by the end of the month is to obtain $500+. What I've done already... is I have a dozen or so keywords; each with 10 - 20 keyword phrases for product ideas. I really need help deciding whats best and will be the most profitable. So far my spreadsheet is growing; organized by the number of searches...

I would greatly appreciate some help in choosing a niche to promote for my new project. I'm willing to pay... maybe 10% or 20% of my earnings... at the end of the month. All you gotta do is make a sound suggestion. Whatever I make, I'll share with you. Decent money for a few moments of your time.

As I think about this more, I'd like to offer more than that. I don't want to treat members of this community as "disposable" - I'd like to build relationships and possibly help others in the future (once I graduate beyond n00b status, that is) ... so if possible, some guidance along the way - and I somehow make more than $500... I'd be willing to even share any earnings above that, instead of a measly 10%. Meaning, if my site makes $1500 after the first month, I'll give you $1000. That would require more of a time commitment from you, so I am hesitant. I know time is priceless.

Feel free to shoot me a PM - or reply if my box is full. Not sure what you should say... maybe experience, or your expectations? Am I out of line for asking this?

[and mods. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section]

*EDIT*

Not sure if this is helpful, but I am also working full time. I plan on investing 4 - 6 hrs / day ... and ~5 days / week during the month of May. Are my financial expectations unreasonable for the amount of work and time I want to invest?

    Monkeys.

Definitely you should make a product about monkeys. Very
    hot niche.

Orangutans aren't a hot niche yet, but will be as soon as the
    monkey thing crests.

I've got a great idea but its for an online service rather then a product.
Also it would involve some offline work. But if you like ideas that are involved and interactive, its the one for you. The good news (from my perspective) is that it is not B2B, no one else online is doing it, and if implemented well its easily a multi million dollar idea. Its completely scalable so you could start small and local then move it from city to city.

I'd give you the idea for a promise of only 5% of what you earn (every month for the entire lifetime of the business) as long as I would not have to touch the project ever.

I was going to do this idea myself, but there's no point because I'm already working on a project that will bring me more money then I'll ever want.

What I think is true about your suggestion is that there are a lot of long-tail keywords.

i thought you already had keywords for a particular niche?

why not concentrate on that and see what comes out of it.

Let me clarify. I have a decent amount of keywords; and the keyword phrases to go with them. But they are from many different topics; and I'm horrid at figuring out which ones would be the most profitable.

I've read a few guidelines on choosing a decent niche, but I don't feel comfortable yet... and would love to seek the opinions of others. But I also want to compensate financially... instead of just being a leech.

you need to start with one to know if its going to be profitable,if you decide to wait for help on who to give you the best niche to work on then you are going to get loads and loads of ideas from every dick and harry and that will also compound your confussion

get to work with one of the niches you have with you , see how it goes if it doesnt work out the way you want move ahead with the next that what internet marketing is all about.

I agree with you. Work with what I've got.

I've tried to rinse and repeat with either below average success... or no success. Its frustrating - I was hoping that I'd have more to show for after a couple months.

Before I invest again, I'd like to talk things through with someone with more experience. keyword research is really important, and I believe its what i'm lacking the most in. I know that I'm off track somewhere, but I have no clue where. A quick review of my spreadsheet, ideas, and suggestions would be beneficial... and I don't think it would take up much time.
