How Do You Edit YouTube Profile??

Sounds daft I know, but I see loads of other profile pages set-up with some good, relevant info about the account holder. the problem is - I can't find WHERE you go to do this :-(

Can anyone steer me in the right direction pleeeease??

    Log in, and under "my account" hit the settings link.

    If you are looking to change your backdrop, in the upper right corner you will see your name with a drop down menu - click the drop down and select "my channel"

    You will see some more menus appear at the top of the screen. Select themes and colors, and down below you will see a link for "advanced options."

    There you can upload a background image.
