How to Put Links Inside an eBook I Created?

Hey fellow warriors!

Just a quick question, I am currently using word document 2003 which I used to create my PDF eBook.

However, I am having a hard time putting an active link inside the created eBook.

I tried using the Hyperlink option in word document and when I print out the eBook using primo PDF, the links are not active as I was expecting.

I would appreciate your help guys!

Why don't you try a free download of open office? I believe there is an easy linking solution there. The software will likely be more up to date as well.

Copy and paste a link in there with CTRL+C and CTRL+V only works in word. It wont work when converting to PDF. You need to get a better PDF software like Adobe Pro to make this work.

The links have to be manually configured.

    Yes,

You should try using Open Office. It is free and quite easy to use and it allows you to convert to pdf with the touch of a button. Download here: OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite

I know word2007 allows you to save as pdf but I do not think it is possible using word 2003. I may be wrong.

Open Office worked! Thanks a lot guys for your input.

I used the same method with the Hyperlink option and I put in the web address I wanted the text to link to and it worked unlike in Word Document 2003.

Glad to hear you got your problem solved.

I was about to recommend this convert.neevia.com

You can convert your file straight to PDF from the net. It will keep the links intact.
