INTERNET MARKETING

I run a small business and am reasonably web savvy. I wish to make a video ad. Are video ads too expensive?Any pointers on how to produce them on a low budget? Next, how do I get them to my online audience? How do I distribute this within my online Bay Area customer base? No point producing an ad no one can watch. Look forward to any ideas.

At the bottom level you could create an ad for next to nothing with a webcam or digital camera.

Just speak into the camera and say what you want in your ad.

If you want to get more sophisticated you could use Windows Movie Maker and include digital photos, titles on the photos and different audio in your video.

Then upload the video to YouTube and you'll get some code to embed the video on your own webpage or blog.

Or you can send people straight to the YouTube page.

All of that is free as long as you have a camera or webcam.

  Good news is video ads are no longer expensive to make but cost a bit to distribute( if you wish to place them on network of local premium sites) - so plan on some budget - it's not all free! You can try using Jivox pretty effectively for ad production and distribution. Let me know what your experience is like. Happy filming!

You can film the video ad yourself and then upload it to your webpage, then just direct your target audience to your page so they can view it, that will be lowest budget video ad you can get, hope that helps.
