I just did a quick survey on my blog and here is what it told me:
          60% Newbies
          70% not making any money
          40% doing affiliate marketing
          25% selling own products
          80% no really webmaster skills

This seem to be an underlying problem
most people coming online not really having
a clue where to start and been spoon feed
a lot of what if and not really giving anything
of substance in most of the so called products
that are supposed to make you money.

This forum is an excellent place to start your
learning just try and stay away from all the reports
selling here and just ready and take as much action
needed to get you business up and running.

By the way if you guys want to check out how I
setup a survey on my blog have a look in my sig file.

haniez, welcome to this forum, a good way to start is by reading the threads started by others, plus also participate actively in this forum, you will learn a lot of things that way, hope that helps.

I have been in IM for only about 4 months and am already making pretty good money. The biggest thing you can do is get a mentor that knows what they are doing and if they charge for there assistence then maybe they would let you write articles, etc for payment. This can get very overwhelming so stay focused and listen to what they say.

            Try this...

            1. Pick a market and/or topic you know something about and are at least interested in

            2. Register a domain and install a Wordpress blog so you can begin publishing daily content (your experiences, opinions, links to helpful resources or current even stories, etc...)

            3. Find 3-4 MAJOR questions your market has about your topic and answer these questions in a mini-course, video or special report - this will be your give-away or low-price entry product

            4. Signup with an autoresponder and offer a giveaway to begin list building - communicate with them at least a couple of times each week with valuable info

            5. Put up a website with 5-10 content pages designed to test the degree of interest in specific sub-topics - then offer related products (affiliate products to start working into your own product development once you have a better sense for what is in-demand)

That should get you started - you can do this all within a 30-45-day window and know exactly what angle you should take to build your business further at that time having made a few bucks along the way.

              Good answer Jeff.

To add to that. Take action every day. There's a lot to learn but, IMPORTANT - make sure you divide your time equally between learning and applying what you learn.

Nothing you read will make you money....putting it into action will!

              Good luck.

I'd start by trying to familarize myself with the terminology. Get a feel for what everything means. As you start to learn ASK QUESTIONS on this forum. DONT BUY ANYTHING until you've done this. It is waaaaayyyyyy too easy to keep buying product after product and still be completely stuck, with information overload.

Ask the forum members which program they recommend for a total newbie. Personally I'd recommend Conduit Method or Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate both by Chris Rempel.

Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions.

You will get lots of help on here - everyone is more than happy to help newbies.

    Hey Haniez,

Welcome to the forum. It's very difficult for others to tell you where to start because we don't know your background, what you're good at and what skills and abilities you have. I know it's difficult for you too, because people will tell you to just ask questions and just take action and as a newbie you may not know which questions to ask or actions to take. This held me back for a long time.

There are many ways to make money online, but to simplify it a bit you can make money by...
    • Selling your own products
    • Selling other peoples products
    • Building websites or blogs for advertising income, etc.

It all boils down to your ability to drive traffic (potential customers) to an offer (a place where they can buy something or click an ad).

It is very easy to become confused and overwhelmed when you are looking to get started making money online. I see newbies asking the "Where do I start question" so often that I've written a 27 page report called the "Where Do I Start" report. It will clear up a lot of the confusion because it explains in detail how some of the most popular money making methods work. You can get this report for free in my signature file.

      haniez,

I highly recommend "www.thirtydaychallenge.com". After you registered, you'll have access to their free videos teaching you step-by-step on how to make money online. The videos also come with transcripts.

All videos are professionally made and presented to you with a newbie standpoint so you wouldn't feel so confused by too many complicated terms.

I sat through the entire 30-day video series over a weekend. The great thing about it is that they are all free and you don't have to suffer through a lot of useless sales pitch. Just excellent content presented by people who know what they are talking about.

I have no affiliation with them. Just want to share it with fellow newbies.

      Good luck.

      ~Chris

        Here's my suggestion:

Try to start a new thread and offer a few FREE minisites and ecover design for our fellow warriors. I'm pretty SURE you'll get a bomb of request!
Then show us your work, in that way we'll know how good you are in designing.
