Best Keyword research tool you use and recommend

I heard of Micro Niche finder today and I've seen some stuff like it. Im not sure what separates them from each other. I saw something on master-resale-rights.com that looks like it can do the same thing.

What would you recommend to be the best Keyword research software that you have used or heard good reviews on?

I use Google Keyword tool, you can also list your web URL and it will let you know where you would stand with that specific keyword and your competitors (how high competition is). You can Google "Google Keyword Tool" and you should be able to find it if you don't know about it. Its the only one I've known to use, not sure if there are better ones out there.

I been using the google keyword tool for quite awhile and then when I heard of Micro Niche finder today and I visited the site I thought maybe im missing something in my Keyword research. Just maybe a piece of software will help me find the keywords people are searching for with smaller competition.

Google is best but I also want to target Yahoo and Bing as those two get more traffic for specific niches.

Bar none the best keyword tool I've used and am currently using is the google keyword tool...

    1) It's FREE!
    2) It provides information based on REAL searches from the world's largest search engine
    3) It lets you see things not only from the searchers' perspective (search volume + demand) as well as from competitors (est. competition on keywords and bid prices)

Let me add my vote for market samurai. The keyword research stuff is free, and the paid version has a ton of other features (Planning to get the paid version sometime soon, myself)

Market Samurai is definitely my choice too. I've had it since it first came out must be 3 or 4 years ago now.

Since the early release there has been so much added to it. It goes way beyond just a keyword research tool.

Looking at Keyword research first you tell it what you want to look at it will do it's stuff and give you stats like Daily Traffic, Competition, how the keyword trends over the year, how much the number one spot can expect as traffic per day etc etc. Really great for narrowing down long tails will little or no competition that you can easily rank for.

In addition there are other modules like SEO Competition which gives vital information for sites in the top 10 for your keywords like how many backlinks a site has what anchor text is used, how well optimized for SEO the sites are. Everything is colour coded so you can see if it's to hard to compete.

There's loads more modules too but this is running into a novel now lol! Just to say Rank Checker is another module that will track all your keyword positions on the search engines. Best thing is having the convienience of all of this software in once neat esy top use package that has excellent support!

    Your head!

Everybody uses Wordtracker, Google's keyword tool, spyfu and keywordspy ... but I always found that if I REALLY want a competitive edge I have to think outside the box.

I always check competitor's sites for meta tags, keywords ... and then come up with combinations of my own. No tool is better than using your brain-cells. My monthly income doesnt prove me wrong here

Any questions, drop me a line!

Any tool that uses the Google Adsense Keyword tool is providing you with inaccurate
data if you are looking for organic search engine traffic. You see, this tool is all about
paid traffic, and the number of clicks Adsense ad's get. Of course, not all ad's are
displayed on Google, think about all the MFA sites out there.

In addition to this, you're only using historic data. Did you know that about 80% of
the searches on Google have never been made before? As Nick pointed out above,
you need to think outside the box. I've found some fantastic keywords by doing this,
and yet the Adsense tool told me that there was no traffic. My server stats suggest
    otherwise.

I use the Google tool for an overview and then get more ideas using Keyword Spy to see what others in that niche are already using successfully and which words aren't being targeted that I could use.
