FREE video production?

I need to make a video for my sqyeeze page.

Are ther any FREE video applications available that are recommended?

Quality, ease, etc.?

Appreciate any input.

      I must absolutely agree. Go with CamStudio

      They also have application called Jing , which is great also.

    I agree go with cam studio...... Yes, the video will help out... Hard to make it work today without video.

    Use jing, I find it alot better than CamStudio.

    EDIT: I don't use it anymore though because I bought Camtasia so I don't know if CamStudio got any better. That's why you should check em both out yourself

    One source of great free video "software" is film students. I've gone this route a few times.

    If it's just a one-off, download the free trial version of Camtasia. It will stop working after 30 days, but that's plenty of time to make your video.

      Windows movie maker is pretty good. Editing clips can be a bit of a pain with it, but overall it works as well as if not better than some of the cheaper editing programs. iMovie is said to be way better, but I'm still absurdly using pcs. What does Linux offer in the way of free video editing programs?

      Going off tangent, it really gets to be a pain to invest in and update antivirus and antimalware programs because of a using the inferior and problematic MS operating systems that are so prone to such intrusions. One of these days, I've got to just go the Linux route or get a Mac if I want to splurge.
