Someone please help me here???

Hi warriors,

I'm kind of ashamed to ask for help on what is probably a totally simple procedure but I am having problems. I'm trying to use programs like Impact Pop Up and Psychic Pop Up Injector. They make it simple by being able to add the script right to the html file OR allow you to do it manually. Obviously, the first option is best but here's the problem.

So how do I save my html file in html format in order to browse for that file to do it as option 1? Then, once I save it properly, do I replace THAT html with the "old" html? I am hesitant to erase or "replace" my index file (home page) without being certain that I'm not making a mistake.

If anyone knows how to do it manually (option 2), I am all ears that way too. Despite what it sounds like, I know my way around pretty decent with html and placing code and such, so I think I can do it with option 2 but just need some guidance either way.

Thanks in advance Warriors....

Why not save your original index.html file temporarily as index2.html or indextemp.html? Then you still have it as a backup.

Definitely back up your files before you do ANYTHING! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Go to the menu where it says "file" usually on the top left of the page and click "save as" then find the option box under the box you type the name of the file in. Choose html. Not sure if the program you wrote the file has this menu, but most programs typically do. If this isn't what you were asking, as it sounded to me - someone else with more tech knowledge will answer it. LOL.
