How do you promote your squeeze page?

Hi, folks,

Suppose you have no internet assets at all. No product, no list, with only one domain name hosting a squeeze page @ the server root. And this squeeze page is all what you have on that domain at this moment.

What will you do to promote the squeeze page the fastest, yet with the least cost? I am not saying no cost all. The initial budget is quite small, say, how about $50?

    Forum marketing - free (put links in your sig box on appropriate sites)

    video marketing - make a video (can be free) and link back to your offer

    articles - submit to some directories on your topic, and link back in the sig area

    hubs, squidoo, blogger blogs, web 2.0 sites

    Facebook, twitter, etc

    The above can all be done for free.

    If you want to pay for a page to be seen, I believe there are inexpensive ads to be had with stumbleupon.

    You need to direct traffic to your offer, and you will want to encourage qualified people to hit the page - not just anyone.

    Drop useful content around the web, and link it all back to your squeeze page.

    David...my first suggestion would be to join a couple of giveaways. There is one starting in a few days that should be good for you. You do not need to upgrade, but I suggest that you do. It gives you more exposure...donate 3 gifts as opposed to one. I found the link for you...it's: 30th Birthday Giveaway :: Welcome! . These are how many people start gathering lists. After getting them on your list, make sure you build a relationship with them...instead of just bombarding them with affiliate links.
