Hello everyone, I want to get a .com or .net domain as well as hostgator hosting but I forgot the coupon to get the first month for 99c. Could someone refer me to some coupons? I only have 10 to spend.

Try this with Hostgator to get your first month for 1 Cent.

I would strongly recommend you get your domain name from a reputable domain seller/registrar like godaddy, moniker, namecheap, enom etc instead of through a hosting company as you should always keep your domain name registration separate from your hosting.

Lots of hosting companies lock you into deals you only find the details of further down the road. Having your domain name registered with a domain registrar protects you from this.

I agree with John - Keep your hosting and domains seperate.

The current Namecheap coupon for a new domain is:

Free Web Hosting with PHP, MySQL and cPanel, No Ads offers totally free hosting. May help you get started if your in a pinch but i would recommend transferring over to hostgator as soon as you were able. And I also recommend keeping domains and hosting seperate and would go with namecheap.com for a domain
