Clickbank Product Launch

Here's my Idea...

Browse clickbank marketplace to find a niche that's not too competitive but can still make sales... The key is to find a niche that is lucrative, but the competition can easily be beaten. Just make a site thats nicer than the vendor with the most gravity, more affiliate friendly than theirs and better over all and I think affiliates would promote your site over the competition.

find a good PLR product related to this niche

Rename product and make new graphics, sales page and website.
(platinum package looks the best... Minisite Design | Ecover Design | Minisite Graphics | WOW Minisites) I can get a good sales letter written for $400

Put product on clickbank

Let affiliates promote my product

sit back and make money.

anyone doing this?

Great idea but only issue I see is getting your product approved by clickbank. I don't think they allow duplicate content you can add that as a bonus but I doubt they would allow it as the major content? Don't really know though

well there would have to be another product on clickbank for them to deny it right? and also, how would they know? do they actually read the book or just check your sales page to see if its already on clickbank?

Well, of course you want your product to be unique from another. Didn't see anything in your original post that wouldn't make it unique, even if it's a copycat product. Copycat products happen all the time, but of course it needs to be unique enough that nobody else is using this product. The great thing about PLR is that you can edit it a bit and add your own twists, which for most will be much easier than coming up with something out of thin air.

It's a great idea but for it really to work you would have to be actively recruiting affiliates, I think, at least at first. Yes, they could come across it but how many sites are there on clickbank? I think there's tons, yes? So, I think your idea is grand but it's not going to be as simple as you make it. That said, it is that simple, just with the extra work of recruiting affiliates.

This is how I see it, really. Do you have any affiliate programs? I'm in the process of starting my first. My suggestion, and this is what I am doing, approach at least 50 prospective affiliates and ask them to promote your product.

    Good luck.

where would be a good place to recruit affiliates? right here on this forum?! Where do you think? I agree, I think a large launch would be best instead of letting affiliates find me

Depends on your niche. But I don't think relying on this forum alone would be sufficient, even for IM products.

You can try a thread in the JV forum, of course. But I would just say that Google is your friend. Search for high traffic keywords related to your niche site. Find the top sites (you know they'll have traffic if they're ranked high), and then try to see if there's contact info for the webmaster or owner of the site to try and partner with them by having them join your affiliate program.

oh right. to ask them to put up a banner and get some sales to bring up the gravity or whatever?

Getting your product approved on Clickbank doesn't equal launching a product

If you want to do a real launch, you'll want JV partners, not affiliates.

JV partners will not promote your PLR.

Many affiliates won't promote your PLR either for numerous reasons, including:
-the fact that you probably won't know anything about the niche you're trying to sell in
-you're probably not serious if you're sticking PLR on Clickbank hoping to make good money
-you probably won't have good conversions (or good sales copy)

I'm not trying to be discouraging here, but if it were that easy, everyone would be doing it.
