Question:

For a broke Internet marketer, is creating a blog on blogger.com the way to go, or is there any other ways to create free blogs??

    You could use wordpress but I think they eventually delete blogs that are commercialized. If you get the right keywords I have seen blogger do well. It works great with posting links on yahoo answers.

    Just off my head...

    You can write something and submit it as an article to EZ or other top article directories...

    If you have a cell phone or camcorder, you could go out and snap up pics or videos about your product and submit it to Youtube and other top video sites.

    Doteasy offers a free hosting account and provides a blog. The only thing you have to buy is a domain name unless you have a domain to transfer.

    There are limitations, and I have no idea if their service is any good or not, but if you can't afford hosting it's an option. You'd at least have your own domain and could transfer your domain to another host at a later time if need be.

    To be honest - if you're so broke that you don't want to buy a domain and hosting - you probably should be doing something else.

    Try to do everything for free is a really good way to create a path that consists mainly of struggling.

    Wait until you can invest in your business and then start.

    Second that. You need your own domain and hosting account, or else you are putting all your hard work at risk. If you don't have your web hosting and domain name, all your work is really someone else's and they have control of it, not you. That's no way to build any sort of long term business, and it is pretty scary even for a short term promotion.

    I don't think you're THAT broke not to be able to affording $10/month in hosting and $10/year in a domain name right?

    You need to change your mindset from those being an expense to those being an investment...

    Nobody's going to take a blogger or wordpress blog (that's not hosted on your own domain) seriously

      IMBMPGuy, that (above) may seem a bit harsh, but it's a reality - your problem is not being broke, your problem is mindset.

      You are broke for a reason - it's the results of your actions up till now. (and please don't make excuses for yourself, or blame other people for the situation you're in, as I did with the same results up until 2005)

      How do you go from a broke mindset, with low self esteem and self worth?

      You do what I did to become financially and personally free.

      You take control of your mind. You take charge of the thousands of negative thoughts that race through you mind daily telling you that you can't succeed.

    Think of it this way, if you are broke, then it is not going to take much to replace your income. Do some odd jobs to get some cash and get a domain name and hosting. It will be worth it if you put in the effort to build you business.
